Happy Citizenship Day
On the calendar it is noted as 9/16. In 2000 it was celebrated on 9/17/00

September 17, 2000.
On this special day, my sister and I were 2 of the 74 or so new citizens that joined the President, Senators, Mayors, Judges and delegates in the groundbreaking ceremony for the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, PA.
