During and after the hockey game, Abby has been cheering "LETS GO CANES". Of course she didn't want to say it on her own in front of the camera so we coached her along.

I love goofy socks, I guess it seems I'm passing this on to Abby????

& lastly, there is a Dora episode where Dora & Boots sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. It is playing the background and Abby is singing along. What you don't get from this clip is how she asked me for the song "one more time" about 5x's over. She only stopped asking b/c I switched her to her ALL-TIME FAVORITE video Elmo in Grouchland - Sing & Play (not to be confused with Elmo in Grouchland movie).

Hockey Game

Abby, Nick and I went to the last afternoon hockey game of the season. We've really enjoyed these 3:00 games since Abby can go and we're home in time for dinner and usual night time routine. & added bonus, Canes beat Colorado Avalanche and Cullen got a hat trick!!!!

Abby was ECSTATIC to go. On the way to the game she was saying "hockey game with Daddy" a gazillion times... and threw in "and Mommy too" every so often ;) After we got home she refused to take off her jersey.

OK this is a bit random. Before dinner I noticed she had a big black bit of something stuck in between her 2 front teeth. I tried to brush it off, still some gunk stuck. So I got a piece of floss and amazingly enough she let me use it. After she made this yucky yucky face for a good minute, so I couldn't resist taking this shot.

Teacher Work Day (Part 2)

Abby & I went to CMI Jewelers to get my ring cleaned (its been forever since we don't live so close anymore). Here's Abby playing in their Kids Area.

Teacher Work Day

Abby's daycare had a teacher workday so Abby & I had a Mommy/Daughter day today.

This is how the day started. After breakfast we made pudding. Abby made it (almost) all by herself. She's so proud!! We tasted just a little from the spatula (it was only 8:30am) while putting it away for later.

We should have taken pictures of her eating it after dinner, she was so GROSS but so HAPPY. What a sight! There is a reason why we don't normally have chocolate pudding.

FLUFF

Abby's 1st time having fluff (you know the marshmallow cream?) I put fluff on the grocery list to which Nick said what is "fluff"? As you can see Abby didn't have that reaction. She licked every bit off and wanted "more more"!!





Thoroughly enjoying her fluff. She's been saying "camera" then "cheese" but in front of the camera she didn't want to say either.

Lazy Mom

Sorry for the no posts, where does time go? We have taken some pictures and (gasp!) some cell phone video of Abby that I have neglected on posting.

Abby is doing really well and is learning new words everyday. Her latest is "here you go" now if only I could get her to talk on camera?

I went to Brazil for a short business trip last week. It was a whirlwind trip, very good overall but tiring. It did a number on my new fangled diet I HAVE NO WILL POWER! I just couldn't get back to my diet after I got back. I literally gained back most of what I have lost in the last 4 wks of working out and dieting. So basically I wasted 2 whole weeks. *sigh*... very yummy food though and as always a fun time at our annual Super Bowl party.
