First Sleepover

Oh what fun it is to ride...

It was quite a day with the lack of electricity at our house today (long story). So I took Abby to Brier Creek's Sleigh Ride. She was very good & patient to stand in line w/nothing to do but stand there. At the end of our wait we saw some friends so Abby got to run w/the boys, thank God for friends!

Houston (part 2)

Here is the real reason we went down to Houston, it was to visit our dear Halmuhnee (Grandmother). It was nice spending time with her and seeing when she remembered. She still smiles and I could still see the glimmer in her eyes. She is sharp. My brother Scott and I arrived on Saturday. When I went to pick some persimmons from the tree at one point, she even asked where I was. On Sunday morning she remembered me and repeated I was leaving today and I have 1 child. She told me to have another, at least 2, next one a boy. She said she had 7 children, 1 boy, 6 girls. What time is your flight again? 4:00, okay you have time then.

Thank you very much to our dear cousin Richard, our aunt & uncle who give so much of themselves to take care of our Halmuhnee in their home.

My older brother Scott & I met in Houston to go visit our Halmuhnee (Grandmom). I really meant to take pictures of the food (AWESOME SUSHI! and that tempura battered cheesecake... yikes) but forgot. So here's some other fun. More pix on my camera & will be posted soon.

so my 웨이브 파마 (wave perm) is almost gone. I was thinking of getting a 똑바로 파마 (straight perm) next. Well mostly b/c I've never had it. & also b/c I am still in the hopes to find the lazy girls not have to do anything to my hair hair-do.

In the spur of the moment I've been wondering, BANGS?? I'm a horrible nut for whimsical ideas so here's me digitized w/some celebrities hair (updated a la Susan style and color). You shoulda seen the makeup I could have added... heheee~

Halloween 2009

Halloween 2009. Our friend Gentry graciously invited us to their neighborhood Halloween parade. We had a parade of costumes with a RPD escort and some trick or treating on the way back. Aside from the weather was unseasonably warm, it was a blast!

I'm sure I would have had more wine but the next morning was the half marathon.
