Abby & her pal Annabelle spent the afternoon at the Asheboro Zoo. Abby with Grandmom & Annabelle with her Grandpa.

I love taking my pictures w/these things, maybe Abby does too!

Donuts & the Park

Abby playing dress-up with the Krispy Kreme Donuts hat. She had 1/2 a donut and boy the sugar rush on her was quite a sight!

Nick & I just came back from a cruise (w/o Abby).

Here are some of the activities Abby got to do with her fun grandparents! (Thanks for the pictures Mom & Dad.) Abby finally got the hang of feeding the ducks. Before this she would eat it herself.

& no day at the park would be complete without her all-time favorite swing.

too BIG

I buy Abby's clothes too big. She outgrew 18mos jeans so I thought she'd be 2T or 24mos for pants now. So the 18mos are too small but the 24mos are too big. At least the shirts in 24mos and up fit her. I had her try on these brown polka-dotted corduroys I bought her they are so big and falling off Nick said they looked like CLOWN pants! lol~ how true... you'd be laughing too if we took a picture of it.

Her really cute new pants all need to be rolled up at least till she grows a few more inches (or the clothes shrink) whichever comes 1st.

Well... at least she has the pretty dresses.

Rex Birthday Bash

Abby & I went to the Rex Hospital's birthday bash at Crabtree Valley Mall. We got cupcakes, got to spin 2 prize wheels (we picked the right # and won The Incredibles DVD), took pictures and Abby got a "I'm a Rex kid" t-shirt (I think she can wear it when she's like 5). Abby was born at Rex.

Right behind the promotional area there are rides for the kids. Abby's has never been on a ride before so I wasn't sure how she'd do. I thought we'd test try Thomas the Train. She loved it so much I had to get more change. She rode the space ship and Cat in the Hat. She was mad at me for making her leave. Luckily we went to her favorite store next - Stride Rite - the girl loves shoes.

She's been making this funny deer in the headlights look for pictures lately.

State Fair

Abby's grandparents graciously took Abby to the fair this year. They had a lot of fun. Especially at the pig races! Abby didn't have much time for pictures.

18 month check-up

Abby did not even cry for her hep-A or flu shot. She just kinda wimpered and kept looing down at her arm. Great job Abby!!

Mirror Mirror on the wall

I got this headband for me to wear to see if Abby would smile or look up at the camera. Instead she decided she had to wear it. Surprisingly she held onto it for awhile. Maybe there is still hope for her to keep hair accessories on?

Its funny anytime she puts on a to dress-up (hat, sunglasses, etc...) she immediately says "mir-mir" (means = mirror).

Ganyard Hill Farm

Today we met with our friends Darin and her daughter Mirin, Pia and her son Jayden and her in-laws from NY. The kids had a really fun time. I think I speak for everyone when I say it was fun but it would have been so much nicer if it was 10 degrees cooler! 80 degrees in Oct is way too hot especially to play dress-up (keep reading)...
We picked the farm since its in Durham, NC and pretty close for all us. There's a TON of pictures so I made them all small. Just click to enlarge :)
Darin & Mirin

The farm had goats, pigs, roosters and sheep to feed. This was my favorite kid (that is what they call baby goats right?)
Pia & Jayden on the hayride. Abby trying to pick her pumpkin.

Dressed up for Halloween. We had to make it quick w/the Halloween costumes. All the kids had FAT SUITS on with the big belly stuffing on their costumes.
