Finally some April pictures

This week I started working on Our Dear Abby blog. I went to create my 1st post & realized I had taken ZERO pictures all month. How sad since at minimum I have my camera phone with me 24/7.

So the very next day, I went to pickup Abby @ daycare, the kids were still playing outside. Its amazing how toddlers will literally flock to you at the site of a camera (camera phone mind you). So with my handy 5 meg K850 phone, I tried to redeem myself. There was no one else around before I pulled out the camera. & suddenly they start appearing!

& then we have this little cutie-patootie show up. (I wish I knew her name). Too funny! There were 2 other little boys that came over. I showed Miss Cutie Patootie the picture & she hugged me.

Abby Cadabby

bathtime fun

It's nearing the end of April & I just realized, we have not taken ANY pictures of Abby on our own this month! Good thing we took Abby for her 1-year pictures with our beloved photographer, Danielle Anthony.

I'm trying to teach myself the ins & outs of photoshop CS3. I struggled with the videos that came with the sw pkg. This is how far I've gotten with some bath time fun (pictures courtesy of dear hubby). I've since decided I need more help. I've gotten a trusty new book & video tutorial buddy Deke McClelland, unfortunately the lessons have taken me awhile & I haven't really practiced too much. Here is the before shots. We'll see how I progress!

Easter Bunny

Abby met the Easter Bunny @ Daycare today. She did not freak out at this big-headed furry friend but she also was not interested in sitting still...

1st Birthday

Abby's 1st birthday! This is her dol (Korean for 1st birthday) table. Abby & I both wore our hamboks (traditional Korean dresses).

Abby-Babby-Bo-Bana

Here's my banana loving silly girl. When she eats, likes lots of toddlers do (or so I hope?) she gets food all over her face. The messier the food the more she wants to get it all over her hair, eyes & anywhere else her grubby hands will reach.

Here she is eating bananas (an all-time favorite fruit). She has banana bits stuck in her nose.

This was probably Nick's all-time favorite picture for a few months running. Abby's 1st 2 teeth are prominantly displayed.

Teething & getting around

At Thompson's birthday party. Daddy let Abby have some beer... no, not quite. But she did love the way the cold bottle felt on her sore teething gums. She looked so tired here, it just made for a nice drunken stuper look.


Granny made Abby this sweater for Christmas. Abby's learning to get around by holding onto the couch, tables, stool, whatever she can grasp.


in her Chihuahua, MX t-shirt. The super thoughtful ladies I work with sent her this t-shirt. I had to take a bunch of pictures to send to them... & a touch of girlie white bow in her hair to make sure everyone knew she's a girl!

Christmas

We had Christmas at our house on Christmas Eve. In what I've always seen on American TV & movies, we opened gifts in our PJ's. Here's Abby in hers.

Christmas Day. We went to Greensboro, NC to have Christmas with Granny, Grandpa, Great-Grandma, Great-Grandpa & Uncle Joe.
