Talk to the hand!

From Ms Tyeysha (of course!!) ;)

Abby & her friend Brandon had fun playing today. At this point, Abby was tired of whatever Brandon had to say.

Ms Tyeysha told Abby "not nice"... Brandon was the one that was sorry. What a sweetie! Abby can be such a little meanie sometimes. To which Nick would say "figures takes after her mom"... *rolling eyes*...

There's a boombox on the other side of the fence. Abby's listening and dancing. All the fencing in this corner makes the playground look a bit like kid prison huh? j/p~~ its just to separate the toddler and older kids' play areas...

She just blew a *kiss* & looks so darn proud of her little self

Abby Blabber

This looks like Abby in the middle of her jibberish babbling lately. I can barely understand what all the babbling is about lately. She just keeps going then finishes with nodding her head up & down like she's agreeing with her smart self?!

Ice Pops & Blocks

The kids were all eating ice pops @ daycare. This is Abby's "this thing is TOO COLD!" face... the feeling must pass pretty quickly and she gobbles it down.

Case in point, she dropped a piece on the floor and went down to get it.

Here's Abby stacking blocks. This was one of her developmental milestones she missed on either the 12 mo or 15 mos well-child visits. The DR asked if she could stack 3-4 blocks. I said no, usually just 2, after that she wants to knock them all down. As Granny says, Abby is much more of a destructive girl than a constructive one.

Water Table

we finally have the water table set-up. (long story).

I had Abby play with it in her dress but she splashed and drank so much water out of it, she was unhappy wearing the soaking wet dress. We went back in and changed, totally ready to get WET!

She took off one shoe and proceeded to dunk it in the water. I've mentioned before, she drinks the water in her pool. Water table is just the same, she drank the water with the ladle and scooper. Well... this is pretty gross!!... she took off her shoe and drank out of that too. I had to laugh for a second, then took it away. You can barely see what she's doing in this shot.

She then proceeded to take off both shoes. I had to take away both for fear she'd drink out of both shoes. How gross!

Chillin on the Dinosaur

After 2 days of playing with Grandmom & Grandpa, Abby was back @ daycare today. Here she is chillin on the dinosaur (I think that's what that is? uhmm maybe its a caterpillar?)

Abby hates hats but loves her some cool sunglasses. Case in point...

Playdate

Thanks to Grandma & Grandpa for taking these pictures!

Grandma, Grandpa & Abby went over to have a playdate with Annabelle. They hadn't played together since Jan. They've both grown up so much since the last time.

Back at school

driving around the playground

she loves play dough (I wonder if she's eating any?)

darn if only her left hand was just a wee bit hight on her belly, she'd look a bit like a monkey girl scratching her head and patting her tummy... lol~~

Takes all summer to sit in pool

There's really nothing too exceptional about this except for the fact that the water loving girl has flat out REFUSED to step in, play or sit in any kind of pool all summer long. No kiddie pool, no 2 ft kiddie pool, no adult pool, not even content to stay on the stairs of the pool. No floats either.

Nick helped blow up her kiddie pool (it's been in a box all summer). At first I only put about 2" of water since I wasn't sure if she'd like it. She did, so much so that I filled up the pool for her. She climbed in & out of it at least 1/2 a dozen times and cried when I took her inside. She even played with it the following day on Sunday and again cried when I made her go back inside.

She really liked to drink the water with her toys, kinda gross at least it was a personal mini pool!! You'd think we don't give her enough to drink. Some days, she does the same thing in her bath, drinks it and tries to slurp down water from her wash rag... even more gross right?!?! Don't tell her I told you :)~
